Grinding creates homogeneous mixtures by allowing the particles to reach the desired size as well as enhancing the coating properties of substances by increasing their contact areas.
Reducing the particles’ size or leaving them larger can each have advantages along with disadvantages. So, the size of the particles varies depending on the product and process.
At Yemmak, we use two different systems for the grinding process: breaking and crushing. In the crushing process, the size of nearly all particles become the same thanks to Yemmak roller mills, which operate at a low power consumption rate.
Whereas in the breaking process, the Yemmak hammer mills are used to reduce the sizes of particles to the desired diameter or smaller, as well as to provide a high production capacity.
The crushing process makes the feed more digestible for farm animals.
